Wednesday evenings are informal and an opportune place to bring questions
and new friends interested in meditation. There is always a meditation
and discussion period, some evenings we will focus on developing attention in meditation and others
on visualization and compassion practice.
We will be working on cultivating attention and continuing
practice on Chenresig meditation. Chenresig is the Buddha of Compassion. This
practice incorporates recitation and visualization creating a conducive meditative focus.

Seven Point Thought Transformation and Tonglen Practice
Jan 16th-March
13, 2003
Thursday evenings are study and discussion courses. We will
begin the new year with the Seven Point Thought Transformation. This practice
is excellent for cultivating bodhicitta, the compassionate mind with the
intention to attain enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings. There will be a
presentation in each class that will focus on one of the points of practice and will be followed by
discussion and meditation.
